The ‘Ogham Village’ is an urban concept I am currently exploring, creating low rise high density while maintaining a humane scale.
At the centre of the Ogham Hill the viewer discovers a circular public square, whose diameter matches that of the Circus in Bath. The square is split into two levels connected by a slope, reminiscent of Victoria Street in Edinburgh. The lower level offers a circular array of restaurants, pubs, book retailers etc on its perimeter. Sitting at ground level, it also displays a common area with a central group of gigantic plane trees, taller than the Ogham Hill and thus visible from far away.
